What we may be able to do
We assess how deep the mark has travelled and choose a treatment for that stain and that leather. Where a stain can't be lifted completely, it can often be reduced and, if needed, colour-corrected.
Complete stain or ink removal can't be guaranteed — results depend on the leather and how deeply the mark has penetrated.

Our approach
Different stains need different chemistry, so we never use a one-size treatment. We work in stages, checking progress as we go, and stop before the finish of the leather is put at risk.
Every bag starts with a specialist assessment. We treat it according to its material and condition, preserve original materials wherever possible, and aim to improve its appearance and extend its life — we never promise a bag will look brand new.

FAQ
Questions we're asked
Can ink be removed from a leather handbag?
Often it can be lifted or greatly reduced, especially if it's recent. Older ink that has bonded with the leather may need colour restoration to disguise what remains.
Can denim colour transfer be removed?
Denim transfer on light leather usually responds well to treatment, though heavy or long-standing transfer may leave a faint shadow.
Can you remove stains from Chanel lambskin?
Lambskin is delicate, so we treat it conservatively. Many marks can be improved, but we'll tell you honestly what's realistic after seeing photos.
Can every stain be completely removed?
No. Results depend on the stain, the leather and how long it's been there. We'll always explain the likely outcome before you approve any work.
Can I send my handbag from interstate?
Yes. We work with customers Australia-wide. Once your quote is approved we'll explain how to send your bag to us safely, and we return it insured. Adelaide customers can also visit our studio.
