Auction Terms and Conditions

Welcome to The Handbag Room’s Auction! Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By participating, you agree to be bound by these terms:
 

1. Eligibility

  • Participants must be 18 years or older.

  • A valid account is required to place bids.
     

2. Authentication and Item Details

  • All items listed are authentic and described to the best of our ability.

  • Each item includes detailed photos and descriptions; additional queries must be addressed before bidding.
     

3. Bidding Process

  • Bids are placed in increments as displayed during the auction.

  • All bids are final and binding; no retraction is permitted once submitted.
     

4. Payment

  • Winning bidders will receive an invoice upon auction closure.

  • Payment must be completed within 48 hours. Accepted payment methods include credit card, bank transfer, or other options specified in the invoice.
     

5. Reserve Price and Winning Bids

  • Some items may have a reserve price. If the reserve is not met, the item will not be sold.

  • The highest bid at auction close (above the reserve price) wins the item.
     

6. Shipping and Collection

  • Items can be collected in-store or shipped to the winning bidder.

  • Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise stated.

  • The Handbag Room offers complimentary courier services within Australia for certain purchases.
     

7. Returns and Refunds

  • Auction items are sold as-is and are non-returnable unless significantly misrepresented.

  • Refunds will not be issued for change of mind or bidding errors.
     

8. Cancellation Rights

  • The Handbag Room reserves the right to cancel bids, suspend accounts, or withdraw items from the auction at any time without notice.
     

9. Disputes

  • Any disputes regarding the auction must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of auction closure.
     

10. Changes to Terms

  • The Handbag Room may update these terms and conditions at its discretion. Participants will be notified of significant changes.
