We work to keep the original handles and straps wherever we can. Replacement is only discussed if the original can't be safely restored.
Every bag starts with a specialist assessment. We treat it according to its material and condition, preserve original materials wherever possible, and aim to improve its appearance and extend its life — we never promise a bag will look brand new.

FAQ
Questions we're asked
Can darkened vachetta handles be lightened?
Vachetta naturally darkens with age and handling. Cleaning can lift dirt, but the natural patina can't be fully reversed.
Can a cracked handle be repaired?
Surface cracking can usually be improved. Cracks right through the leather need a structural repair, which we'll assess.
Do you make replacement straps?
Our preference is to restore the original. Tell us what you need and we'll let you know what's possible for your bag.
Can I send my handbag from interstate?
Yes. We work with customers Australia-wide. Once your quote is approved we'll explain how to send your bag to us safely, and we return it insured. Adelaide customers can also visit our studio.
